Essential Oils
Aromatic essential oils are extracted from trees, flowers, seeds, grasses, fruits, leaves, roots, and shrubs have the power to alleviate disease, promote vibrant health, of the body mind and spirit.
Essential oils consist of tiny aromatic molecules that are readily absorbed via the skin, and the lungs. These therapeutic constituents enter the bloodstream and are carried around the body where they can deliver their beneficial healing powers. Because they are highly concentrated, only a small quantity of essential oil is required to bring about results.
Essential oils are a plant’s lifeblood: like your own blood, they contain hundreds of beneficial elements in even the tiniest droplet. Just as you benefit from the peace and tranquility of standing in a lavender field, you benefit similarly from just a single drop of lavender essential oil added to a warm bath or rubbed into your temples.
HOW TO USE SINGLE ESSENTIAL OILS OR BLENDS:
Palm inhalation:
Use 1 or 2 drops of 4 Thieves or single essential oil. Rub in your palms with a deep inhalation. This is an excellent way to keep your natural winter defenses strong. Use through-out the day as needed.
Bath or Foot Bath:
To create a warm aromatic bath or foot bath with Epsom Salt, add 4 to 5 drops of single essential oils or oils blends to bring soothing relief to the body and mind. Run the bath first, then add the oils (otherwise the oils will evaporate).
Room Spritzer:
To make a room spritzer, add 10-15 drops of 4 Thieves or a single essential oil to a 2 oz. spritzer bottle full of good quality water. Adjust accordingly if using a larger sized bottle. Mist the air in your room, car, or office, as needed to leave a purified space behind. This will also make a wonderful household and laundry cleanser - just add several drops to your favorite cleansers to boost efficiency.
Vapor Therapy:
If you don’t have a diffuser you can put 1 or 2 drops of 4 Thieves or single essential oils in a pot of hot water, cover your head with a towel, and perform a series of deep inhalations through your nose and mouth. Close your eyes, the oils are strong!
